Prayer of Making a Difference
Lord, create in me a clean heart. Life can be so complicated busy and chaotic. But amid the mess, please give me the strength and courage to see people, places, things and events through Your lens. Please guide me and change me, oh God. Please give me Your heart for others and the world around me. Each and every day, help me to see, through Your eyes, the truth of what is, what has been and what will one day come. In the name of Your son Jesus I pray, Amen.
Prayer Points…
- Pray against the brokenness that leads to crime, the justice system that it would be just, fair and wisely administered; for those bringing Christ in the prisons, the families impacted by violence or a family member imprisoned, for the children of those incarcerated and for those delivering future opportunities to those leaving prison; for the police, legal personnel and the support staff who engage these situations, as well as for the counsellors who care for those impacted.
- Pray for those who have not accepted Christ that God would open their eyes and minds, soften their hearts, enable their ears to be receptive to the Good News, give them grace, and lead them to repentance and follow Jesus. We continue to pray for 5 persons we know.
